After that, the annual general meeting was held where the recipients of the Ekushey Padak winners and National Film Award winners were honoured, who were members of the guild. The segment was hosted by Deepa Khandakar and Shahadat Hossain.
"The program was very enjoyable and beautiful. Through this event, I have got to meet many familiar faces whom I haven't seen in a while. However, we have lost some people along the way. We missed them from the core of our hearts. Overall, it's a good event to remember for a long time," said Dilara Zaman.
"This event is worth all the appreciation. Actors' Equity Bangladesh is all of our beloved organisation. We have all enjoyed the day very much," said Mamunur Rashid.
The day-long event concluded with a mesmerising cultural programme. Fazlur Rahman Babu performed some of his popular songs. The cultural segment was hosted by Nabila Rahman and Pran Roy.
"We are happy to organise such a cheerful event for our artistes. This is how we will continue to work for the organisation. February 18 will be remembered every year through this event," said General Secretary of Actors' Equity Bangladesh, Ahsan Habib Nasim.
