Stocks fall for second straight session
The indices of Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchanges fell for the second straight session today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), dropped 9 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 6,250 at 11:45 am.
Turnover stood at Tk 202 crore.
Of the securities, 26 advanced, 126 declined and 125 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, also dropped 25 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 18,424.
Of the issues, 11 rose, 37 retreated, and 39 saw no price movement.
