Priyanka Chopra picks Alaya F as the next Bollywood superstar
Priyanka Chopra thinks that Alaya F will become the next Bollywood sensation. During the promotion of her new series "Citadel", Chopra sat down for an interview at South by Southwest 2023 (SXSW 2023), during which she praised Alaya F for having an unique outlook.
"I really like Alaya Furniturewala, she is Pooja Bedi's daughter. And I told her when I met her that I think she is just cool and has a unique perspective. She is not trying to be like everyone else. I think we'll find out in a few years," Priyanka said in the interview.

Alaya F recently caught the attention of the audience with her performance in the film "Freddy" opposite Kartik Aryan.
As soon as the interview got the attention of the "Freddy" actor, she felt "overwhelmed" and "grateful" and shared her excitement on Instagram.
"I can't even begin to describe how overwhelmed and grateful I'm feeling!! When your favorite actor picks you when asked who they think deserves to be the next Bollywood superstar, there is literally no better feeling in the world!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you @priyankachopra Going to be smiling and dancing all day," she wrote.
Alaya, who is also the granddaughter of veteran actor Kabir Bedi, received the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut in 2021 for her performance in her debut film "Jawaani Jaaneman" alongside Saif Ali Khan and Tabu.
Alaya was recently seen in Anurag Kashyap's musical love story "Almost Pyaar" with DJ Mohabbat. She also has the films "Ek Aur Ghazab Kahani", "U-Turn" and "Sri", with Rajkummar Rao, in the pipeline.
