Tamim, Mushfiqur in command as Tigers need 49 to win after lunch
Bangladesh batters Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim have put together a 46–stand run stand to take control of their chase of 137 against Ireland as they managed 89 runs for the loss of two wickets at lunch on Day four of the one-off Test at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricketing Stadium in Mirpur on Friday.
Tamim Iqbal scored an unbeaten 24, while Mushfiqur was not out on 29 as Bangladesh need 49 runs to win.
Before Mushfiqur's arrival to the crease, Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored four, nicked one to first slip off Andy McBrine to cap off a disappointing match with the bat.
