Stocks on Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 4 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 6,218 at 11:50 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 292 crore.

Of the securities, 51 advanced, 63 declined and 179 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 11 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 18,315.

Of the issues, 27 rose, 25 retreated, and 20 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.5 crore at 11:55 am.
