Dr Mahfuzur Rahman releases ‘Ghazal’ covers ahead of Eid

With the upcoming Eid in mind, ATN Bangla Chairman, Dr Mahfuzur Rahman has recently released three cover songs. Titled, "Rafta Rafta", "Pyar Bhare Do Sharmeele Nain" and "O Mere Samne". 

The first two are covers of eminent Pakistani Ghazal artiste Mehdi Hassan, while the latter, "O Mere Samne" was sung by Ferdousi Begum for the Pakistani film, "Chakori" (1967).                                                                                                                                                                                       

The cover songs were arranged by Mannan Mohammad and are part of Mahfuzur Rahman's new album, "Hridoye Tomakei Chay". 

Last Eid-ul-Fitr, Rahman's sensational performance, where he holds a lamp (hariken) while singing, became one of the most talked-about performances. All the videos and recordings of his songs were recorded in the ATN Bangla studio and can be found on their official Facebook page.
