Salahuddin’s personal secretary made interim BFF GS
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Monday appointed Imran Hossain Tushar, the chief protocol officer of BFF and personal secretary of BFF president Kazi Salahuddin, as interim general secretary for the next three months.
Tushar joined BFF as the Protocol Manager for the board in 2017 and later, since 2018, has also acted as personal assistant to president Kazi Salahuddin.
The BFF took the decision of appointing Tushar as an interim general secretary, which will be his additional task for the next three months, during an executive meeting today, in which the board also formed a seven-member inquiry committee to investigate Abu Nayeem Shohag's financial irregularities.
Shohag, the former general secretary of BFF, was sanctioned by the FIFA's adjudicatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee on Friday for having used false and/or falsified documents to justify payments made by the BFF with FIFA funds.
