Popular actor Tasnia Farin has threatened to take legal action against journalists if they publish misleading, or intentionally false news about her personal life. She issued this warning in a post on Facebook yesterday evening.

Supposedly, the post was given because, for a few days, news about her and singer Tahsan was circulating in social media, implying that they were in a long-term relationship.

"I consider journalism to be part of my professional life. In my eyes, journalism is a noble profession. However, if some journalists spread any fabricated information without verification, it is very painful. It hurts me," Farin wrote.

She also made it clear in her post that if any journalist ever tries to ruin her image she will be forced to take legal action.

"I am sorry to say that if any journalist, news media, or online media publishes false, misleading, intentional, or derogatory news about me without evidence, then I will be forced to take legal action," the post reads.

The actress went on to say that she always kept her personal life out of the limelight. She doesn't like to talk about her personal life in front of the media.

"I have not given anyone the right to spread fabricated stories about my personal life. I will not tolerate anyone doing that. I don't feel the need to explain a completely fictitious story," she wrote.

Farin also told her fans and well-wishers that she doesn't have any news about her personal life to share now. She will be updating her page with her Eid projects for now.
