Please give ‘zakat’ to your financially unstable relatives: Tama Mirza
For Tama Mirza, the idea of Eid means spending quality time with your loved ones. However, she won't have much time to shopping, as she will be busy shooting for Raihan Rafi's film "Shurongo" throughout the month of Ramadan.
"After wrapping up shooting for 'Shurongo', I am dying to spend time with my friends and family. I mean nothing can beat my mom's homecooked meal in Eid. She makes the best beef curry and polao. My relatives are so sweet that sometimes when I am not able to go to dawaats, they would always send me food," said the actress.
From a very early age, Tama Mirza has been obsessed with getting clothes as gift in Eid.
"During Eid-ul-Fitr, I would wait patiently for my chachi, Khala, and my mother to gift me a dress. I wouldn't show my dress to anyone and would always try to make sure it was unique from others. The joy of receiving Eidi and new clothes made my childhood really special," revealed the beautiful actress.
This Eid, Tama Mirza will be wearing a local design as she feels they bring out the true beauty of a Bengali women.
"It's really difficult to handle saree, so I will be wearing a salwar kamiz. I have a female designer in mind, who makes some of the beautiful designs I have ever seen," said the beautiful actress.
The actress wishes all her fans a happy and hearty Eid. Tama also requests everyone to give their Zakat to their close ones and refrain from showing off. "Please give Zakat to your close relatives who don't have proper financial condition. Don't consider it as a Zakat but rather as gift to them. I always believe that helping others is the biggest blessing Allah has gifted upon us," concluded the actress.
