'Got a salami of 50k without asking'

Shahtaj's wait ended when Pritom finally reached his-in laws's house around 3 pm, she had been planning to ask for Eid salami but to her surprise, Pritom gave her BDT 50 thousand as Eidi. That's how the festivities went for the newly married actor-musician couple, Pritom Hasan and Shahtaj Monira Hashem.

The couple had tied the knot back in October last year and spent their first Eid together, yesterday. Speaking about that, Shahtaj recalled, "I have been getting Eidi from Pritom since we had started dating. Whenever we would meet on Eid, he would give me Eidi. I wasn't sure if I was going to get any after marriage but to my surprise, I did."

The actress-model also added, "I've received more (amount) when we were dating, he gave me BDT 50 thousand this time. The amount however, doesn't matter, it's the act of it that counts. It comes from love."

So far, Shahtaj has been staying with her mom at her Shyamoli residence. Their Eid was spent taking preparations of moving into the couple's own apartment. When asked about what activities they planned on doing for Eid day, Shahtaj said "I will visit my relatives' houses and meet my friends. Spent time with them."
