'We have already lost respect, let's not belittle ourselves more'
This Eid we witnessed all sorts of movie genres being released across theaters. Eight films were released among which Shakib Khan starrer "Leader Amie Bangladesh" and Puja Chery's "Jinn" are doing wonders at the cinema hall.
However, some actors are busy throwing shade at one another, which is hurting Dhallywood actor Zayed Khan.
The actor posted a status on Facebook where he told actors to respect each other and requested the Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud to halt Hindi cinema for the time being.
"Let us try to respect and continue to promote Bangla movies for the sake of our industry. Please don't insult other actor's movies, or take personal dig at others. Audience have little to no respect for us, let's not belittle ourselves to them," said the actor.
"Pathaan" will be released in Bangladesh on May 5. Due to high demand, Eid movies might feel pressured by the high demand for the blockbuster film in cinema halls.
Zayed Khan requested the Information and Broadcasting Minister Hasan Mahmud to temporarily halt Hindi movies for the time being.
"For the sake of Bangladeshi film actors and producers, please stop the release of Hindi movies for few more weeks," concluded the actor.
