The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, gained 10 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 6,273 at 11:35 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 288 crore.

Of the securities, 111 advanced, 40 declined and 158 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, lost 0.6 points to 18,465.

Of the issues, 44 rose, 30 retreated, and 56 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.3 crore at 11:40 am.
