The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, gained 13 point, or 0.21 per cent, to 6,252 at 11:15 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 430 crore.

Of the securities, 108 advanced, 64 declined and 112 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, surged 75 points, or 0.40 per cent, to 18,779.

Of the issues, 53 rose, 21 retreated, and 35 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.9 crore at 11:20 am.­­­­­­­­­­­­­
