Kangana calls Ranbir 'skinny white rat', thinks he's unfit to play Ram
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut did not hold back as she fired her opinions on the recent casting of Nitesh Tiwari's planned adaptation of the Ramayana. She took to her Instagram story to pen a lengthy text story, expressing her disagreement over casting Ranbir Kapoor as Ram, over the project's another star, Yash.
According to media reports, in the Ramayana adaptation, Ranbir-Alia will be portraying the epic's own couple Ram and Sita, with Kannada star Yash portraying Ravana.
Taking a jibe at the star cast, Kangana wrote, "Recently I am hearing news about another coming up Bolly Ramayana… Where a skinny white rat (so-called actor) who desperately needs some sun tan and conscience he is infamous for doing nasty underhand PR about almost everyone in the industry… known for womanising and drug addiction after desperately trying to prove himself Lord Shiva in a trilogy (which no one watched or want to make more parts of) has now grown fancy to be Lord Rama…"
The "Queen" actress did not stop there, as she continued, "Whereas a young southern superstar who is known to be self-made, a devoted family man a traditionalist also according to Valmiki ji description he looks more like Lord Rama in his complexion, demeanour and facial features… is offered to play Ravana… What kind of Kalyuga is this?? No pale-looking druggie soy boy should play Lord Rama… Jai Shri Ram".
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt had previously paired up in "Brahmastra- Part One" where Ranbir portrayed a character inspired from Shiva. The film also contained multiple cameos from Bollywood stars and has two more installments in the pipeline.
Kangana on the other hand, was last seen in "Dhakkad". She is now awaiting release of her film "Emergency", where she portrays former Indian prime minister, Indira Gandhi.
