DSE edges down, CSE inches up
The prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell slightly in the morning trade today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, lost 1 point, or 0.02 per cent, to 6,300 at 11:40 am.
Turnover stood at Tk 179 crore.
Of the securities, 70 advanced, 92 declined and 142 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 6 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 18,624.
Of the issues, 38 rose, 32 retreated, and 47 saw no price movement.
Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 7.3 crore at 11:45 am.
