Space and Acting Research Centre stages ‘School of Wives’

Space and Acting Research Centre staged a mesmerising theatre play today titled "House of Wives" at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA). Directed by Ashish Khandakar, marked the 18th portrayal of the play.
The event took place at the Studio Hall of BSA at 7 pm today.
"School of Wives" portrays the tale of Arnolphe, a wealthy man who wishes to marry the young and innocent Agnes. In order to avoid having a faithless wife, Arnolphe had raised Agnes since the tender age of six—completely detached from the outside world. However, by a twist of fate, Arnolphe's son meets and falls in love with Agnes.
"School of Wives" is based on famed French Molière drama of the same name which was first published back in 1662.
