University of Asia Pacific arranges freshers’ orientation for Spring 2023

University of Asia Pacific (UAP) organised an orientation program on July 15 for the students of the Spring 2023 semester. 

Dr M. Alauddin, Chairman, BoT, UAP, was present as the Chief Guest. He expressed his gratitude to the students for choosing UAP as their destination for higher education and assured them of full cooperation.  

UAP VC Prof. Dr Qumrul Ahsan chaired the event. He congratulated the freshers for joining the orientation program with strong convictions and advised them to make the best use of UAP's resources.

Addressing the new students, UAP Pro-VC Prof. Dr Md. Sultan Mahmud said, "This day is significant in your life because you will be inducted into the world of academia. Studying at the university level is very different from the kind of education you have received till now."

UAP Registrar Professor Shahriyar Anam shared some essential rules and regulations of UAP with the freshers while Takad Ahmed Chowdhury, Director of the Directorate of Students' Welfare (DSW) of UAP introduced the freshers to the clubs and its regular activities. 

The heads, faculty members, administrative staff, freshers and their parents and guardians also joined the event. At the end of the program, a discussion meeting was arranged with guardians to learn about their expectations from the university.
