Coke Studio Bangla to feature late Lucky Akhand's music in new song
In a heartwarming tribute to the legendary singer and composer Lucky Akhand, Coke Studio Bangla has announced that their upcoming song will feature the late maestro's work. This exciting collaboration seeks to bring Lucky Akhand's incredible creations back to life and pay homage to his immense contributions to the Bangladeshi music industry.
The studio's Facebook announcement filled fans with anticipation and excitement for this musical collaboration.
"We are proud to bring the melodious magician Lucky Akhand, whose amazing creations have taken the Bangladeshi music industry to a different level, at Coke Studio Bangla in a new way," wrote Coke Studio Bangla on their Facebook page.
Lucky Akhand's musical journey began with his self-titled solo album in 1984, released under the label Sargam. The album mesmerised audiences with unforgettable tracks like "Agey jodi jantam", "Amay dekona", "Mamonia", "Ei Neel monihar", and "Hridoy Amar". His profound lyrics and soul-stirring melodies struck a chord with music enthusiasts, establishing him as one of the country's most cherished artists.
The late maestro also penned lyrics for his brother, Happy Akhand, where they collaborated on tracks like "Abar elo je shondha" and "Ke bashi bajaire", sung by Lucky, while "Shadinota tomake niye" and "Pahari jhorna" were beautifully performed in a duet with Happy Akhand.
