‘Shurongo’ screening expands to 50 halls in Bangladesh, 31 in West Bengal
In the fourth week since its release, Raihan Rafi's directorial project, "Shurongo", is now being showcased in 50 cinema halls all across the country. Marking a significant milestone for the film since its release on Eid-ul-Azha, now occupies the highest number of halls to date.
Notably, the movie introduces Afran Nisho's first appearance on the silver screen and has also been released in Kolkata, where it is being shown in 31 theatres starting today.
Shahriar Shakil, the film's producer, confirmed the news to The Daily Star. He is currently in Kolkata, where the movie will premiere later this evening. Raihan Rafi expressed his optimism, hoping that the West Bengal audience will embrace the film as warmly as the audience in Bangladesh has.
Meanwhile, Tama Mirza, Afran Nisho, and Raihan Rafi travelled to Kolkata to attend the premiere.
