Shakib Al Hasan's Montreal Tigers made it to the top of the Global T20 Canada table, securing their third win on the trot with a six-wicket victory over Vancouver Knights in Brampton on Tuesday.

However, both Liton Das and Shakib had average outings but still saw their Global T20 Canada outfits win yesterday.

Shakib was taken for runs on the day, leaking 41 with no wickets to show for in his four-over spell as Vancouver Knights scored 149 for four.

With the bat in hand, Shakib managed just 12 off eight deliveries and departed early in the innings, leaving Montreal Tigers in a precarious three for 21 after 2.5 overs. However, a match-winning unbeaten 53-ball 84 from Sherfane Rutherford helped Montreal Tigers get over the line with 11 deliveries to spare.

Meanwhile, batting at number three, Liton scored a 20-ball 21, hitting a boundary and a maximum, to help his side Surrey Jaguars to a 20-run win over Toronto Nationals in a reduced 18-over-a-side game earlier at the same venue.

The Jaguars posted 141 for six in 18 overs before restricting their opposition to 121 for nine.
