Marufa passes SSC with flying colours 

Bangladesh Women's cricket team pacer Marufa Akter passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations with a GPA of 4.06. 

The BKSP student got to know her results on Friday morning when it was published countrywide.

The results have come after the right-arm pacer helped Bangladesh to a 1-1 draw in the recently concluded three-match ODI series at home against India. She became the highest wicket-taker in the series having scalped seven wickets.  

Marufa is currently enjoying time off from cricket and is staying at her native Nilphamari with her parents.
