Not Rakhi, call me Fatima: Rakhi Sawant
Rakhi Sawant returned to Mumbai after performing Umrah for the first time. The actress was welcomed with garlands and showered with rose petals at the airport.
As she came out of the airport, Rakhi surprised paparazzi by requesting to be called "Fatima" instead of her well-known moniker. "Rakhi nahi, Fatima bolo (Not Rakhi, call me Fatima)," she playfully quipped.
Responding to her whimsy, photographers began referring to her as Fatima.
When a reporter inquired if she had officially changed her name on legal documents, Rakhi swiftly responded, "God made me just like this, he loves me just how I am. He doesn't need me to change documents or my name."
Subtly addressing Adil Khan, Rakhi remarked that she had recently visited a holy place and wasn't concerned about any drama that may be brewing amongst people.
Prior to her return, Rakhi shared a video from Mecca where she was visibly emotional and pleaded with God. In the video, she directly addressed Adil Khan Durrani, claiming that he had manipulated her into marrying him to pave his way into Bollywood. She fervently prayed for Allah's guidance and assistance.
Rakhi had converted to Islam for her marriage with Adil Khan. However, the union turned tumultuous as she accused him of domestic violence and fraud.
On the other hand, Adil countered Rakhi's claims by accusing her of cheating and physically abusing him.
Previously, Adil Khan faced accusations of rape by another woman and spent six months in jail before being granted bail.
