Durga Puja is knocking on the doors and most of us, including celebrities, who celebrate the festival are gearing up to spend a joyous puja celebration this year too. Amongst these celebrities is the national award-winning actress Bidya Sinha Mim, who has always celebrated the Durga Puja vacations with her parents.

However, as Mim's parents are currently abroad, this puja will be the first that the actress will not be able to observe with her parents.

The "Antarjal" star shared her thoughts with The Daily Star, concerning this and said, "This is a bit sad for me. I have always celebrated puja with my mom and dad. Since they are currently in Canada and will remain there for a few more months, I won't be able to celebrate with them this time. I will really miss them during the celebrations."

Going down her memory lane, the actress mentioned her sweet childhood experiences of puja celebration, "Since my childhood days, puja for me meant spending time with my parents, visiting our ancestral home at Rajshahi and having a wonderful time with all our relatives. I would wander from temple to temple during Durga Puja. It was really a unique happiness that I can't compare with anything else."

"Now, if I am to visit the temples like I used, there would be a crowd of people wanting to take selfies with me or talk to me – this however is a different kind of experience as well," explained the actress.

Bidya Sinha Mim will be celebrating this Durga Puja with her in-laws at Mymensingh. She added, "This puja, I will be having a lot of fun with my in-laws. I wish everyone a delightful Durga Puja."

The actress was last seen in the cyber-thriller film, "Antarjal". Moreover, she will also be appearing in Sanjoy Somadder's upcoming film, "Manush", alongside Kolkata's famous actor Jeet, which is set to hit the theatres this November 24.

"I have co-starred with Jeet da before. This time I am appearing as a special guest actor in 'Manush'," clarified the actress.

Moreover, Bidya Sinha Mim will also be appearing as the noted author and lawmaker Panna Kaiser in her upcoming film "Digonte Fuler Agun". The shooting for this project has already been completed.

"'Digonte Fuler Agun' is a very special film for me and I am very happy to be able to portray the legendary writer Panna Kaiser in the film," concluded the actress.
