Unidentified mobs set fire to a bus, a pickup truck and several rooms of the BRTC bus depot in Kamalapur this afternoon.

A correspondent of this newspaper reported from the spot that the arsonists could not be identified.

Firefighters reached the spot around 4:50pm and doused the fire.

মির্জা ফখরুল বলেন, ‘সচিবালয়ে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ডে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ নথিপত্র পুড়ে ভস্মীভূত হওয়ায় ব্যাপক ক্ষতি হয়েছে।’
