708 killed in 683 road accidents in April: report

At least 708 people were killed and 2,426 injured in 683 road crashes last month, Bangladesh Jatri Klyan Samity said today.

Among the road crashes, bikes were involved in 305 crashes which claimed the lives of 274 people, the organisation said.

The organisation prepared the report compiling media reports.
