Workers of a garment factory today blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Gazipur's Tongi for one and a half hours demanding arrears.

Vehicular movement came to a halt since the workers of Taratex garment factory blocked the highway in front of Shahadat Plaza around 8:30am, said Tongi West Police Station Officer-in-charge Iskandar Habibur Rahman.
