InspireSphere Grand Finale at ULAB inspires youths for positive change

The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) recently hosted the grand finale of 'InspireSphere: Let's Make the Changes', presented by Tamishna Group, powered by Begum's Catering, and in association with The Daily Star. 

Organised by the ULAB Social Welfare Club, the event featured six finalist teams from top universities showcasing impactful social campaigns to a panel of judges.

Winning campaigns included Project Cyber Health from BRAC University, focused on internet safety for youth, with Russell's Vipers from North South University and The Changers from ULAB as runners-up. 

Speeches were delivered by prominent figures, including sponsors, judges, and chief guests. Prof. Jude William Genilo, ULAB's Pro Vice-Chancellor, alongside Selima Quader, Club Advisor of the ULAB Social Welfare Club; Mohammad Salah Uddin, CMO of Tamishna Group; and Toky Hossain, Marketing and Relations Advisor of Begum's Catering, commended the participants for their dedication to creating meaningful change and emphasised the importance of youth-led initiatives in addressing Bangladesh's social and environmental challenges.

The judging panel, comprised of Rijve Arefin (Co-Founder, Awareness 360), Hasin Jahan (Country Director, WaterAid Bangladesh), Ismat Jahan (General Manager, Apex DMIT Limited), and Ishrat Bintae Rouf (Program Lead, GenLab), evaluated each team's campaign based on innovation, societal impact, and feasibility.

InspireSphere was supported by a network of partners and sponsors, including Tamishna Group as the Gold Sponsor, Begum's Catering as the Food Sponsor, Shaffle as the Snacks Partner, and 90.4 Dhaka FM as the Radio Partner.
