CEMS-Global USA organises construction focused exhibitions

A series of exhibitions featuring primarily the construction and real estate sector of the country kicked off at International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital today.

The fairs are titled 29th Build Bangladesh Int'l Expo 2024, 23rd Real Estate Expo 2024, 26th Power Bangladesh 2024 International Expo, 21st Solar Bangladesh 2024 International Expo, 6th Dhaka International Lighting Expo 2024 and 6th Water Bangladesh Expo 2024.

CEMS-Global USA organised the exhibitions, which would run for three days and stay open to visitors from 10:30am to 8:00pm, said a press release.

Meherun N Islam, president and group managing director of CEMS-Global USA and Asia Pacific, inaugurated the exhibitions.

The exhibitions offer three seminars focusing on the latest trends and innovations relevant to the industries.

Speaking at the inauguration, Islam emphasised how the exhibitions would continue to position Bangladesh as a global player in real estate, renewable energy and infrastructure sector.

"As we are aware that Bangladesh's construction market size is expected to grow from $30.38 billion in 2023 to $41.47 billion by 2028, it is understood that the construction sector is a driving force behind the economic progress of Bangladesh," she said.

"These multisectoral exhibitions will enhance the possibility to increase B2B connection in all the sectors," she added.

SS Sarwar, group chief executive officer of CEMS-Global USA, and Tanveer Qamrul Islam, executive director, along with other officials of the organisation, were also present.
