8 die of dengue

At least eight dengue patients died while 1,389 patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till this morning.

Of the deaths, seven were reported in Dhaka city and one in Chattogram division.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), with the new deaths and cases, the total number of deaths rose to 415, while the total number of cases rose to 79,984.

Currently, 4,035 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country.

A total of 75,534 patients have been released till today.
