A fire that broke out at a garment factory of DBL Group in the Nayapara area of ​​Gazipur's Kashimpur on Friday night has been brought under control.

Ariful Islam, in-charge of Konabari Fire Station, told The Daily Star at 11:30pm, "I am at the scene. The fire is under control now."

It was not immediately known how the fire started. Details including the extent of the damage will be announced later. Two fire engines went to the the scene and brought the fire under control.

The fire broke occurred at the DBL Group's Maymon Garment Factory in Kashimpur at 9:57pm.
