Though legendary musician Lucky Akhand is no longer with us, his music continues to resonate with fans and inspire new creations. Seven years after his passing, his timeless compositions are still being brought to life, with the latest release, "Bhober Nodi", adding to his enduring legacy.

Performed by Bappa Mazumder and featuring Sayeeda Shampa as a co-singer, "Bhober Nodi" is based on a melody composed by Lucky Akhand. Bappa has arranged the music for this special track, written by lyricist Golam Morshed.

The song is set to release on December 5 on the popular YouTube channel "Gaan Janala."

Reflecting on this project, Bappa Mazumder shared his admiration for the late composer, saying, "Lucky Akhand's melodies have a way of touching the soul. It's a privilege to work on a song composed by him. I'm grateful to Morshed bhai for the opportunity, and Shampa's vocals beautifully complement the piece. I'm hopeful that listeners will connect with it."

Lyricist Golam Morshed also expressed his excitement about the collaboration: "I've wanted to work with Bappa on a new song for some time. When we started brainstorming, I mentioned 'Bhober Nodi', a composition by Lucky bhai. After hearing it, Bappa was immediately captivated by the lyrics and set to work arranging the music."

He added, "I believe this song will carry forward the legacy of other hits I've written, like 'Anondo Chokh' by Lucky Akhand and Samina Chowdhury, and 'Ek Mutho Gaan-1' by Fahmida Nabi and Bappa Mazumder, which have been cherished by listeners for over two decades."

Lucky Akhand, who passed away on April 21, 2017, at the age of 60, left behind a vast treasure of Bangladeshi music. From the iconic film track "Abar Elo Je Shondha" to the beloved "Bhalobeshe Chole Jeyo Na," his contributions shaped the nation's musical landscape, and his influence continues to inspire artistes today.
