ACC seeks transactions documents of Hasina, Joy, Rehana, Tulip
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) issued a letter today to Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), requesting all documents related to local and international transactions of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, younger sister Sheikh Rehana, and Rehana's daughter and UK lawmaker Tulip Siddiq.
The ACC's investigation team sent the letter, seeking details on offshore bank account statements and other accounts associated with the individuals in question.
A senior ACC official confirmed the matter to The Daily Star.
The official further said the investigation team has also requested their personal documents from the Election Commission Office, and Immigration and Passport Office.
