Rana shines in Rangpur's win over Sylhet

Pace sensation Nahid Rana took four wickets to lead Rangpur Riders to a 34-run win over Sylhet Strikers in the Bangladesh Premier League in Mirpur on Tuesday.
Rana took out four of Sylhet's key batters -- Zakir Hasan, Paul Stirling, Jaker Ali, and Samiullah Shinwari -- to restrict them to 121-9 after Rangpur posted 155-6. Left-arm spinner Khushdil Shah and seamer Mohammad Saifuddin chipped in with two wickets apiece.
The win gave Rangpur a second victory in as many matches after they won their opening fixture against Dhaka Capitals at the same venue yesterday.
Eariier, skipper Nurul Hasan Sohan scored a 24-ball 41 to help his side past 150 after they were reduced to 69-4 in the 12th over. The right-handed batter built a 65-run stand with Iftikhar Ahmed, who scored a sluggish 42-ball 47.
