Southeast Bank PLC recently launched a special digital countdown timer clock at its Banani office in the capital as a part of the celebration of its founding anniversary.

The bank will celebrate its 30th anniversary on May 25 this year, according to a press release.

MA Kashem, chairman of the bank, unveiled the digital countdown timer clock as the chief guest.

This initiative is considered as a milestone in honouring the bank's three decades of achievements and its unparalleled journey in banking services.

The digital timer, installed in the bank's own premises in Banani, symbolises the proud history, integrity, and innovative banking services of Southeast Bank.

Beyond counting down to May 25, the 30th anniversary, the timer aims to inspire all members of the Southeast Bank family to work together towards building a prosperous future.

While delivering his speech at the inauguration ceremony, Kashem said: "Southeast Bank's 30-year journey reflects the unwavering trust and support of our customers, partners and employees."

"This countdown timer clock represents not only the anticipation of our 30th anniversary, but also our steadfast commitment to the development and prosperity of both the bank and the nation," he added.

The event was attended by Nuruddin Md Sadeque Hossain, managing director of the bank, and Md Musfiqur Rahman, vice-president and head of corporate affairs and CSR division, along with heads of Gulshan and Banani branches and executives of the bank.

Since its incorporation as a "Bank Company" on March 12, 1995, and the commencement of formal operations on May 25 of the same year, Southeast Bank PLC has established itself as a leading financial institution in the banking sector by providing high-quality banking services, ensuring sustainable growth and implementing innovative banking solutions.
