Stocks fell in the morning trade today, ending the two-day gain streak of this week.

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 5.80 points, or 0.11 percent, to 5,184.97 as of 12:20 PM.

Around 144 issues advanced, 156 declined, and 85 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 138.78 crore.

Asiatic Laboratories Limited had the most traded shares, rising 4.43 percent to Tk 37.70 as of 12:24 PM.
