Stocks declined today for the second consecutive day, as investors continue to be cautious. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, lost 7.35 points or 0.14 percent to 5,148.87 as of 12:04 pm. 

Around 129 issues advanced, 175 declined, and 86 remained unchanged.

Total turnover stood at Tk 161.48 crore. 

Monno Fabrics and Khulna Printing & Packaging led the gains, rising 9 percent each, while shares of SS Steel and Fine Foods dropped 4 percent.
