Stocks gained in the morning trade today after it posted six consecutive days of losses. 

The DSEX, the premier index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained 11.92 points or 0.23 percent to 5,124.43 as of 11:38 am. 

Around 141 issues advanced, 158 declined, and 85 remained unchanged. 

Total turnover stood at Tk 160.27 crore. 

Shares of Energypac Power Generation surged the highest 9 percent, while shares of Prime Finance First Mutual Fund plunged 9 percent.

CSE All Share Price Index was up 0.02 percent, gaining 4.07 points to 14,335.49.
