Yunus inquires about Tamim Iqbal's health after heart attack

Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus expressed concern today over the health of former national cricket captain Tamim Iqbal, who suffered a "severe heart attack" while playing at BKSP.
On behalf of the chief adviser, his Deputy Press Secretary, Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, spoke with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) CEO Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, according to CA Press Wing.
Nizam Uddin confirmed that Tamim was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where an angiogram was performed to assess his condition.
He assured that the BCB would keep the Chief Adviser informed about Tamim's health and that the board remains in contact with his medical team, ready to provide any necessary support for his treatment.
Tamim has been a stalwart of Bangladesh cricket, having played 70 Tests, 243 ODIs, and 78 T20 internationals. He has also captained the national team at various stages of his remarkable career.
