First 5-star hotel to open in Mymensingh industrial belt mid-2026

Best Holdings Ltd is set to open the first five-star hotel in the country's industrial belt by June 2026, introducing luxury hospitality to Bhaluka in Mymensingh.
The hotel, Marriott Bhaluka, is a bridge between industrial efficiency and five-star luxury, said Md Abul Kalam Azad, company secretary of Best Holdings.
Bhaluka, home to over 2,500 factories—including those in garments, pharmaceuticals, ceramics, and agro-processing—is rapidly emerging as a key industrial hub.
The hotel aims to support this growth by offering premium services for business travellers, trade summits, and industry events.
To be operated under the Marriott brand, the hotel will feature 224 rooms and offer high-speed internet, smart workstations, meeting halls, lounges, wellness areas, fine-dining restaurants, a business centre, a spa, fitness zones, a banquet hall, three meeting rooms, and an 18,800-square-foot infinity pool.
Now 80 percent complete, the Tk 1,172.69 crore project is being financed through 60 percent bank loans and 40 percent equity.
Once operational, it is expected to create more than 200 direct jobs and contribute to the region's expanding business ecosystem.
