Titled as an urgent visual narrative, the exhibition showcases over 60 powerful images alongside a thought-provoking video installation, offering an unfiltered look at the ongoing degradation of Dhaka's natural environment. With more than 10 years of experience chronicling Bangladesh's socio-environmental landscape, Ramani brings a journalist's insight and an artist's eye to the pressing ecological issues facing the city.

"Over the years, I've seen firsthand how environmental pollution and degradation have changed the face of Dhaka. This exhibition is my attempt to document those changes and inspire conversations around sustainable development and better environmental policy," said Ramani about the exhoibition.

Regularly cited among the most unlivable cities in the world, Dhaka is grappling with a range of environmental issues—from polluted air and toxic waterways to unmanaged waste and vanishing green spaces. Ramani's work is organised into four thematic sections, each focusing on a distinct area of concern:

"Air Pollution – A Silent Killer": Chronicling the impact of vehicle emissions and industrial pollutants on public health.

"The Death of Water Bodies": Revealing the degradation of Dhaka's rivers and lakes

"Waste Mismanagement – A City Drowning in Its Own Trash": Examining the consequences of ineffective waste disposal.

"The Vanishing Green – Dhaka's Concrete Jungle": Depicting the relentless disappearance of nature due to rapid urbanization

Far more than a visual documentation, the exhibition serves as a wake-up call—urging journalists, artists, environmentalists, policymakers, and the general public to reflect on the environmental future of the capital.
