Mahmudullah loses temper after Mohammedan’s defeat to Abahani

Mohammedan's veteran star Mahmudullah Riyad lost his cool after his team suffered a six-wicket defeat to Abahani in a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) fixture at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, Dhaka, today.

The result confirmed Abahani as champions.

After the players shook hands at the end of the match, Mahmudullah was heading back to the dressing room when something was reportedly said to him from the grandstand above the Mohammedan dressing room. He reacted instantly, attempting to climb up to the spectators' area as chaos ensued.

Videos later surfaced showing Mahmudullah being dragged down from the stands by Mohammedan officials, as the crowd was brought under control.
