The interim government has announced a 10-day holiday for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.

The decision was made today at a meeting of the advisory council at the Secretariat.

Shafiqul Alam, press secretary to the chief adviser, confirmed the decision through a post on his verified Facebook page.

The long holiday will span the first and second weeks of June marking the second largest Muslim festival.
