Rishad stars as Lahore reach PSL final

Rishad Hossain took three wickets while Shakib Al Hasan went wicketless as Lahore Qalandars romped to the final of the Pakistan Super League with a 95-run win against Islamabad United in the second qualifier on Friday.

Rishad, back from national duty, took three wickets for 34 runs in three overs as Lahore bowled out Islamabad for 17 runs in 15.1 overs after having posted 202 for eight.

Captain Shaheen Shah Afraid, too, took three wickets while Shakib gave away 27 runs in three overs without taking a wicket.

Rishad and Shakib, however, didn't get to bat much as they came in late in the innings. Shakib was dismissed for a duck while Rishad was run out for five. Quickfire half-centuries from Mohammad Naeem and Kusal Perera propelled Lahore to 202 for eight.

Mehedi Hasan Miraz, the third Bangladeshi in the side, didn't get into the playing XI.
