Mushfiqur Rahim
While Tamim Iqbal was all flamboyance and exuberance, Bangladesh's Mr. Consistent, Mushfiqur Rahim, was far more delicate yet aggressive with his century against Pakistan in Mirpur yesterday. The former one-day skipper arrived at the crease as the innings had lost some steam and was struggling at 67 for two after the twentieth over. The little master got things moving right from the word go, striking a boundary off Saad Nasim in the very first over. His aggressive intent rubbed on his strike-partner too as the duo went on to set up a record-stand of 178 runs for the third wicket. Mushfiqur departed in the 48th over but not before scoring 106 off just 77 deliveries, his third ODI hundred, to make sure the hosts were on course for setting their highest score in ODIs.
