2 cases over Bangla Motor attack on Khaleda
BNP and the ruling party’s student front Bangladesh Chhatra League have both filed separate cases over the Bangla Motor attack on BNP chief Khaleda Zia.
Police took cognisance of both the cases this morning, Ali Hossain, inspector (investigation) of Ramna Police Station told The Daily Star.
Both cases sued anonymous people for attack with a motive to kill over the attack on BNP chief Khaleda Zia at Bangla Motor in Dhaka yesterday.
BNP chairperson’s adviser Abdul Quaiyum sued upto 50 anonymous people over the attack, said Shaheb Ali, a sub-inspector of Ramna Police Station.
The other case was filed by Shaheb Ali, a Chhatra League leader, against upto 25 anonymous people with the same complaint of attacking with a motive to kill.
Khaleda’s motorcade has come under attack several times this week – in Uttara, Karwan Bazar and the latest of which is at Bangla Motor yesterday.
The Daily Star has found out that Karwan Bazar’s attack was carried out by ruling party’s student front Chhatra League, who also allegedly carried out the Bangla Motor attack.
