Manga Rock is a free manga reading app from Not a Basement Studio for Android. Being a manga app, its basic purpose of course is letting you read manga. But a number of other features that you get on the free version (which you would not get on the free version of its competitors) make Manga Rock a definite winner.

First and foremost, it lets you choose the language of your preference as well as the websites that you want the app to load manga from. It keeps track of where you last left off in a particular manga, auto-saving where you last were. In addition to this, the app lets you search the vast manga database (8000+ titles) with different search filters and also has a suggestions ("Discover") menu which will suggest titles to you based on what you have read so far. And if you open a user account on it, which you can easily do through your Facebook profile, you can maintain your autosaves throughout your different devices. This, along with display options that let you fix brightness, zoom, etc. make it very user friendly.

The free version will throw ads at you but they're usually at the bottom of the screen or come after 8/9 pages which you can very quickly swipe away from. A good 3G or Wi-Fi connection is a must if you want to enjoy this app though. All things considered, a must get for any manga fan.
