Biman resuming Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur flights from Nov 2
Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to resume its flights on Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur and Sylhet-Cox's Bazar routes from November 2.
Besides, Biman is increasing the number of flights on Saidpur-Cox's Bazar-Syedpur route from Novembe 3, the national flag carrier said in a press release.
The national airliner is going to resume passenger flights on the Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur route as Malaysia has relaxed restrictions on operating passenger flights from Bangladesh.
The flight will leave Dhaka for Kuala Lumpur every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 7:15 pm local time and will depart from Kuala Lumpur for Dhaka every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Monday at 2:30 am local time.
The flight on Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur route remained suspended since May 7. However, the flight on Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka route was in function.
As part of the winter schedule effective from October 31, direct flights on the Sylhet-Cox's Bazar route will be resumed from November 2.
The flight will leave Sylhet every Tuesday at 12:45 pm and Thursday at 12:00 noon for Cox's Bazar and will leave Cox's Bazar every Sunday at 1:30 pm and Tuesday at 2:45 pm for Sylhet.
The number of flights on the Saidpur-Cox's Bazar-Saidpur route has been increased in the winter schedule.
From November 3, Biman will depart from Saidpur for Cox's Bazar every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:20 am and will leave Cox's Bazar every Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
