No quarantine for Bangladeshi travelers vaccinated with UK approved jabs from Oct 11

Bangladesh will be added to the UK government's list of countries and territories with approved proof of vaccination which means arrivals with vaccination status certificates will be recognised for travel to the country starting October 11.

This approval will be effective from 4am on October 11, according to an announcement from the UK's Department for Transport.

According to the list, people fully vaccinated with UK-approved vaccines will no longer require a 10-day hotel or home quarantine and a Covid-19 pre-departure test.

Bangladeshis who got both doses of Oxford/AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna or Janssen no longer need to quarantine at home for 10 days in the UK or do two PCR tests on arrival in the UK, according to the latest update.

Earlier on September 17, Bangladesh was removed from the UK government's travel red list, which came into effect at 4am on September 22.
