A fire broke out at BBC Media Action office at Gulshan-2 in Dhaka this morning.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

Several computers and furniture were damaged in the which originated inside the office housed on the eighth-floor of Concord IK Tower around 8:30am, said Milon Mia, inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence of Baridhara unit.

On information, five firefighting units rushed to the spot and put out the blaze after forty minutes of frantic efforts.

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
