Tamim’s 95: Highest individual score in CWC
Bangladeshi opener Tamim Iqbal became the highest scorer in World Cup matches for his team during the 27 th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 against Scotland at Nelson.
He scored 95 runs from 100 balls, and struck ten boundaries in his innings. His partnership with Mahmudullah Riad of 139 runs took Bangladesh closer to victory in the Pool A match.
Tamim was lbw to Josh Davey in the 32nd over and unfortunately missed the opportunity to become the first centurion for Bangladesh in World Cup matches.
He become the second Bangladeshi batsman to join the 4000-run club after his teammate Shakib al Hasan during his innings.
